DAY 1 - 10th Nov, Friday
Friday morning woke up @ arround 6am. Gonna send the cadets to their hell place. This year our unit so little ppl sia. Sec2s only 6B3G and Sec3s 3B3G. What to do... stupid sch's 1 CCA policy.
The driver is the same one as last time, the one that bring us to the wrong jetty the other time. OMG! He got problem sia... last time round, tell him we going to Changi village jetty and he brings us to Tenah Merah Jetty... We going Ubin not Tekong lor. This time round we tell him its the same place and he keep on telling us Changi Jetty is 'Kan Da Shu'(chop big tree). Wth lor...
So, finally reached ubin on time. Hahaha! Ever since I took over unit, our unit always reach on time. Last time our unit were famous to be the last unit reach and super late.
This time round is 2 camp in 1 campsite. So messy. I'll object this idea next time. It is far to disorganised. Don't wanna shoot or blame anyone here, since everything were over now. Change for the better, ok?
The 2 initial medic not here lor... So, I become the overall-in-charge for the time been till they come take over(actually all 3 days). 1 medic per camp is very hard liao... now is 1 medic taking care of 2 sides. The Sec2s lots of casualties this camp lor... dont what the camp coor is doing. Think this one I'll bring up to AAR session. Sec3s at got lesser casualties, Sec2s got the most problematic cases one. Throughout the whole camp, I think I evacuated(send home) 4-6 cadets. Cause it is cases that even I also dont know how to handle, best to let doctor to see.
Im under the Sec3 side de. but im also dont Sec2 side work. haiz. Noon actually got some activity to take care of but I cant take any group. Stuck at command post. At nite I am more relax. Most things are in order. Still got nite-walk. I like this part. Yongwhee, Hwee boon and I are the devils. We scared the cadets. hehe.
Today also was liyi's match day. But cannot go. How to book out?
Day 1 ended just like that. Managed to catch some sleep @ Medic post, Canteen.
DAY 2 - 11th Nov, Saturday
Sat is the most chaotic day. Morning as per normal. Nothing happening. I'm in charge of the Orienteering. But at noon, the weather was making a fool out of us. Before I send the next 3 group out of campsite, the wind started. It is very strong wind. Lighting warning activated and we can hear thunder. Im thinking of not sending them out. And while we are disccusing about it, the sky started to dizzle. Stopped all outdoor activities. As the cadets to seek nearest shelters. But the rain was so big till that some tents collapes. All the CIs risked our lives, staying under the rain, struggle to cover up all the remaining tents while the cadets enjoying themselfs under the roof, looking at us. Till now, I still don't receive any 'thank you' from them...
All the rest of the activities were ceased. Even the campfire become indoors. Haiz... I think I don't need to carry on telling story here... It's boring. All male cadets sleep in canteen and female sleep in foyer. Managed to sleep in the dom's bed for the 1st time.
DAY 3 - 12th Nov, Sunday
It's the last day of camp. Got some PT for them. As usual, Medic again. Got very angry with one particular ppl cos he used first aid as a joke. I'll nvr forgive him for this point. Still, outside is outside. I wont bring these things outside normal life. Camp closing at about 11am.
Reached yishun @ about 1pm. All Area 2 CI/HO met at Yishun10 Long John Silver. Not only us, the cadets too! The whole LJS was 'booked' by us! haha! So, when we left, I shouted 'AREA2 OI!'. All the cadets replied 'OI!'. hahaha! tats so cool!
After left LJS, we all went to blk 925 to buy Desserts, than go to multistory carpark for another gathering. Hweeboon kanna 'bully' by us. The poor sotong. Have lots of fun joking arround for 2hrs+. Than all of us left at 4.30pm back home. Reached home at about 5pm. Tired as usual, slept at 6pm.
